Vieille

Two steps below street level, you enter Vieille’s aesthetic universe — a sensuous space where non-seasonal textiles and sustainable finds merge in perfect harmony. Vieille was founded in 2018 by Anna Engstrøm, who now runs the shop and atelier in the heart of Nørrebro, Copenhagen. Here, all textiles under the Vieille brand are produced locally in the backroom by refugee women, crafting timeless designs of the finest quality with exceptional craftsmanship.

The front part of the shop is designed with honest materials: raw walls, concrete floors, and furniture in oiled oak and stainless steel. Our Japanese Cabinets and Foldable Console create a serene frame around the curated selection — a carefully chosen blend of vintage pieces and collections from brands with a sustainable vision. Delicate jewellery and beauty products are displayed on airy glass shelves, while lace and silk are highlighted in striking contrast to the raw surface of the Foldable Console in stainless steel.

The fitting room extends the store’s aesthetic with minimalist décor, where raw materials meet warmer elements. Our Artisan Stool and Column Coat Rack stand alongside plants and stones collected directly from nature, creating a tranquil atmosphere where customers can immerse themselves in the feel and fit of the garments.
