Setomono - our new tableware in a soft off white colour. Made from fine stoneware, inspired by traditional Japanese pottery. The Setomono Bowl Set ( Large ) consist of two stackable pieces of tableware: a bowl and a plate. You can use the plate as a lid for the bowl - or as an ordinary plate for your dining table. The bowl (perfect for your morning cereal) and the plate are both made of fine stoneware - colour-glazed in off white and burned twice for maximum strength and durability. Place them in the dishwasher after use or heat your food in the microwave oven using this tableware - it can handle both. The production of our new tableware takes place in our European factory, specialising in high-quality stoneware for restaurants and hotels. This way of producing also ensures that the Setomonos get that elegant look and smooth feel to them. Now a well-known and highly estimated design studio, architect Kristina Dam started back in 2012 launching a series of limited edition illustrations/posters. Always full of ideas, an art addict and burning with curiosity, Kristina quickly brought her design company into furniture production. Please be aware that due to the matte finish of this fine stoneware the Setomonos are more prone to scratches and marks from cutlery.
