Visit Carla Sofie Molge, an independent interior stylist and content creator, who lives with her family in an elegant apartment in the heart of Aalborg. The apartment’s classic features, such as stucco and herringbone parquet flooring, are complemented by a light color palette, while the interior showcases Carla’s love for a combination of steel and oak.

"Our home reflects a minimalist Nordic style with a light, neutral color palette. I truly enjoy combining materials, surfaces, textures, and tone-on-tone shades. For me, the mix of design, antique finds, and art is what creates the essence of our home. It’s important to us to have items in our home that we find beautiful and that bring us a sense of calm. We don’t worry too much about whether it’s practical for a family with children to have so many light tones. We aren’t overly cautious, and our daughter, Lélou, has always been allowed to sit on the furniture or ride her bike indoors. Our home is meant to be lived in, and we especially love when design functionality and aesthetics come together seamlessly. I’ve always adhered to the philosophy of 'less, but better' and would much rather wait and save up for the things we dream of than compromise." - Carla Sofie Molge
